Washing Machine
The washing Machine is one of the most frequently used appliances in every household. Every washing machine has a certain warranty period which can be extended through maintenance. However, the cost of maintenance can be a headache.
Two types of components in the washing machine leads to a plumbing leak,
- Lint Trap
A Lint trap collects the wastes from clothes. If it isn’t cleaned at least once a month, the waste from the lint trap builds up a clog and starts to flow through the drain pipeline. This affects both the washing machine as well as creates blockage in the drain pipeline. Make sure you regularly clean your filters to avoid serious damage.
- Washing Machine leak
In hard water regions, the water inlet valve in the washing machine is damaged frequently due to sludge buildup leading to washing machine leak or damage. Regularly check your inlet for build of debris. If it becomes blocked it can cause serious damage to both your washing machine and the plumbing into it.
Drains and Pipes
